A Bit About Me:
My name is Peter Allchin. I am 58 years of age and live in the UK with my wife Ellen. I have
been a story teller since an early age, although my mum would call it telling fibs to get out of trouble!
I never read fairy tales to my children when they were small. Instead, I would make up stories, usually of
ghosts, goblins and vampires. They knew it was all make believe and that daddy was just being silly.
I didn’t seriously put pen to paper until my first grandchild was born. Seeing her beauty inspired me to
write some short stories about woodland animals. They are my Barnaby Rabbit stories.
In 2001, I suffered a serious accident. I needed to vent my bitterness and anger. What better way than to
write a novel. I have loved Hammer Horror movies since I was a teenager, therefore, I set myself as the
hero and the bloodsuckers as someone I knew.
Memoirs of a Vampire Hunter was born of passion. It is my first novel and will not be my last: there will
be a sequel.
Feel free to read the first chapter. I am sure that should you purchase the novel in its entirety, you will not
be disappointed.
With kind regards,
Peter Allchin.
